Q: Why do capitalists leave a path for workers to rise? Won't it stop working if everyone uses it?

Why there IS a path: fair and open, but unadvertised

James compares capitalism to “The Truman Show” — from childhood you’re penned into a worker’s environment, raised into a worker without realizing it:¹

• The system was created for capitalists; “of course capitalists educate everyone to be workers — that’s what’s most advantageous to them.”
• But it can’t fully seal off class mobility — capitalism is fair, just, and open (the same point as “wealth is a birthright”), it’s simply not advertised. “The information handed to the marginal worker is, of all things, ‘work hard as a worker.’”
• So the path to wealth has always been there; what’s missing isn’t the path but the “telling”: schools don’t teach it, only wealthy families, the awakened, and CLEC do (echoing “a capitalist doesn’t need to be trained, only told”).

The maze and the navigation: tell the “poison of exploitation” from the “elixir of wealth”

• The system is a maze: capitalists hold a navigation system; ordinary people don’t — and the “navigation” they’re handed steers them toward being workers.
• Inside the maze there’s both a system of exploitation and a road to wealth — the question is whether you can tell which is the “poison of exploitation” and which is the “elixir of wealth.”
• What CLEC gives you is that navigation — not a guarantee, but the ability to see, inside the maze, which road leads to being a capitalist and which locks you in the rat race (勞工還是資本家).

Why it won’t collapse: the vast majority can’t be woken

“If everyone knew this path and stopped getting lost, wouldn’t capitalism collapse?” — James says no:¹

• Introduce this method to 100 people and see how many believe you: most think you’re either scamming them or money-crazed.
• “You couldn’t wake them if you tried” — most are deep in the maze, taking its hallucinogen; that’s human nature, not a shortage of information.
• This is the same truth as “even daily viewers can’t do it; the truly wealthy are always a minority”: however open the method, those willing to believe and follow through are always a tiny few — so the system stays rock-solid and won’t collapse because of CLEC.
